The Package
We will come to your theatre on a Monday, set up and perform the first show on Monday and Tuesday nights. We will change over on Wednesday and play the second show on Wednesday and Thursday nights, with a midweek matinee if required. We will then changeover on Friday, and do show number three on Friday and Saturday nights, with a matinee if required. We will then strike and get-out on Saturday night.
We will provide marketing materials in the form of posters (A3 and A4) and leaflets (A5) as agreed. We will liaise with your marketing and publicity departments as necessary to facilitate local marketing and to co-ordinate national marketing as required. We will provide copy and production photos for publicity and printing purposes at the appropriate deadlines.
The cast will be supported by a technical team of two, a company manager who will be responsible for administration, set-up and relights, and an ASM who will call the show and provide all other necessary technical support. In addition, the producer will visit each venue during the course of each residency, normally at the start of each week, to ensure that any issues can be dealt with expeditiously, and that the company is actively ensuring the high quality of its product.
FLEXIBILITY
The beauty of this tour is the way that you can alter the sequencing of the shows to suit your market. Want a particular order for the plays? That’s fine – we can do them in any order you want. Do you think that some shows may do better business? We can negotiate a longer residency (though we will have a minimum number of each show that needs to be performed). Do you think that you might want only two of the three shows? We can talk about that too (though there may be less flexibility here). By booking us, you are booking a company, not just a show – with all the benefits that entails.
COST
We will be looking for guarantees for each performance set against a 60/40% Box Office split. We would expect there to be a proportionate sharing of the cost of professional rights. We would provide understudy capability and would reach agreements on obligations if an event required understudy work. We would want to have a clear understanding of any extra costs or contras expected by the receiving venue. We are open to discussions!
